This animation shows how to set 2sky's time step using the Time Settings dialog. You can also use this dialog to set 2sky's clock to some specific moment in time.
With the step size set to sidereal days, stars appear to stay put from one day to the next. This is a good choice for watching planets, asteroids and comets move through the sky. Too slow? Add a zero to the end of the seconds field.
